Foot length (mondo): stand on a sheet of paper, mark your heel and your longest toe, and measure the distance. Mondo is this length, in mm or cm depending on the column.

The Big Mountain is from Level's warmest class of gloves: index 5000 out of 5. It is made for days when a regular ski glove is not enough: wind on the summit, long waits on the lift, early climbs.

The mitt cut keeps the fingers together because they warm each other. The outer fabric is water-repellent, and the palm is reinforced with a leather patch where it wears the most.

If you ride mostly on piste in normal weather, this glove will be too warm: look at a model with index 3000.

Size. Level glove sizes are the palm circumference in inches. Measure around your palm at the knuckles, thumb excluded, with a tailor's tape: 18 cm is 7 (S), 19 cm is 7.5 (S-M), 20 cm is 8 (M), 21.5 cm is 8.5 (M-L), 23 cm is 9 (L), 24 cm is 9.5 (XL), 25.5 cm is 10 (XXL).
