The Patrol is from Level's mountain line: a glove for people who spend the whole day outside, on piste or off it.

The back is water-repellent microfabric, the insulation is Thinsulate, and the roomier cut holds more warm air around the fingers. Membra-Therm Plus is a membrane between the lining and the outer layer, so your hand stays dry. The cuff is long with an adjustable strap, the thumb has a soft panel for your nose, and the wrist strap keeps the glove from falling off the lift. Warmth index 3000: on Level's scale this is a warm glove that holds up to -17 °C.

This is the mitt version: the fingers stay together and warm each other, so it is warmer than the five-finger model, with slightly less feel in the palm.

Size. Level glove sizes are the palm circumference in inches. Measure around your palm at the knuckles, thumb excluded, with a tailor's tape: 18 cm is 7 (S), 19 cm is 7.5 (S-M), 20 cm is 8 (M), 21.5 cm is 8.5 (M-L), 23 cm is 9 (L), 24 cm is 9.5 (XL), 25.5 cm is 10 (XXL).
