Foot length (mondo): stand on a sheet of paper, mark your heel and your longest toe, and measure the distance. Mondo is this length, in mm or cm depending on the column.

The Ski Alper Light is the lighter version of the Ski Alper, for the last snow in spring and for climbs where your hand warms up quickly. Warmth index 1000: the lightest level on Level's scale, up to about -5 °C according to the brand.

The lining is merino wool, which keeps you warm even when damp. The palm is goat leather and grips poles firmly. A wind and rain cover sits in a pocket on the back and goes over the glove when the weather turns. There is a window for your watch, a wrist strap and I-Touch fingertips for your phone.

It is not a glove for a cold day on the lift; for that, take a model with index 3000 or higher.

Size. Level glove sizes are the palm circumference in inches. Measure around your palm at the knuckles, thumb excluded, with a tailor's tape: 18 cm is 7 (S), 19 cm is 7.5 (S-M), 20 cm is 8 (M), 21.5 cm is 8.5 (M-L), 23 cm is 9 (L), 24 cm is 9.5 (XL), 25.5 cm is 10 (XXL).
