A women's true twin (identical nose and tail, rides the same in both directions) with a hybrid C2 profile (C2e), Magne-Traction and a soft character: the women's Money for lighter riders. For beginners, park, riding switch (riding with the other foot forward), buttering and freestyle across the whole mountain.
The GNU Gloss is the women's Money, the shortest and most accurate way to describe this board.
It carries the same freestyle philosophy of C2 but is tuned for lighter riders and women's sizes. This is not a "weaker" board but a properly sized and softened construction that lets a lighter woman actually use the rocker, the camber zones and the pop.
The true twin shape (identical nose and tail, rides the same in both directions), the centered stance (no setback), Magne-Traction and the G Lite 1 construction make it excellent for beginners and for park, riding switch (riding with the other foot forward), buttering and all-mountain freestyle.
Technical highlights: women's true twin; hybrid C2; centered stance (no setback); Magne-Traction; G Lite 1; poplar/Paulownia; Co-Ex base; flex (how soft or stiff the board is) around 4-5.
What we have is the 2024/25 generation with C2e, the softer, easier-riding variant of the hybrid C2, with elliptical camber zones that forgive even more.

Size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist, profile and the so-called effective edge (the part of the edge that cuts the snow) together tell how a board will work. The table shows the lower weight limit that Mervin gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful, a longer one brings more stability and float. The waist has to match the boot: at around 24-25 cm the boots are usually up to EU 42-43, at 25-26 cm up to EU 44-45, and the W versions are for a bigger foot, so the toes and heel don't drag in carving.
Not sure which size? Message us or stop by our shop in Golo Bardo. We have been riding this stuff since 1997.
