A directional twin with C2X for freestyle all over the mountain – a floaty nose, a twin chassis, lots of pop and stability on hard snow. One board for piste, deep snow and natural jumps beside the piste.
The name Lib Tech Terrain Wrecker says it all - the board that "wrecks" any terrain. In fact it doesn't wreck it but turns it into fun: your freestyle game, carried across the whole mountain.
The shape is a directional twin - the chassis of a true twin, but with a floating nose and a slight direction. This lets you mount the bindings a little back, and then in deep snow the back foot carries much less load. The C2X profile has a pronounced rocker between the feet and strongly emphasized camber zones toward the nose and tail - lots of pop, easy ollies and stability on hardpack.
The Terrain Wrecker handles deep snow, groomers and those unpleasant transitions from soft to hard over icy ridges where a rider's legs suffer. The base is a fast Eco Sublimated TNT, easy to maintain, and the top layer is almost indestructible and doesn't compromise the board's stiffness - the so-called flex.
If someone asks us for one board for everything, the Terrain Wrecker is one of the first names we give. The 161W is for bigger boot sizes.
Technical highlights: directional twin; C2X; centered stance (no setback) by reference; floating nose; OP construction; 75% Aspen / 25% Paulownia; Eco Sublimated TNT base; Magne-Traction; flex around 6.5-7; all-mountain / freestyle / groomed terrain.
Our version is the 2025/26 generation - per the Lib Tech chart, with the same sizes, profile and construction as 2023/24.

Size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist width, profile and the effective edge (the part of the edge that cuts into the snow) together decide how a board rides. The table shows the minimum rider weight Mervin gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful; a longer one brings more stability and float. The waist should fit the boot: at about 24-25 cm, boots are usually up to size 42-43 (EU), at 25-26 cm up to 44-45, and the W versions are for bigger feet, so toes and heel don't drag in the snow when carving.
