A women's directional C2X board for every day on the piste – light Magnesium POP construction and an easy-entry nose for float and carving. For women riders who want to progress.
The Lib Tech Theda is a women's directional all-mountain board whose name means "divine gift". It appeared for 2024/25 and in our view sits between the light Glider and the serious Dynamiss - a board a woman can rely on every day on the run and progress with.
The profile is a directional C2X: rocker between the feet for float and an easy start to the turn, camber under the feet for pop and precise carving. The easy-entry nose smooths out the bumps of the tracked-out afternoon groomers and floats in deep snow when it falls.
The construction is the new Magnesium POP - light and strong, with tri-axial fiberglass, Magnesium Techno Fiber Bands and carbon around a wood core of Aspen and Paulownia. Underneath is a sintered base (faster, holds wax) - fast and lively underfoot, while Magne-Traction holds on hardpack and ice.
The Theda is for a rider with medium experience who wants to raise her level - carving, trees, deep snow days - and doesn't want a board she will outgrow after a season.
Technical highlights: women's directional; C2X; 1" setback; 8 m sidecut; Magnesium POP construction; wood core of Aspen/Paulownia; tri-axial fiberglass + Magnesium Techno Fiber Bands + carbon; sintered base; Magne-Traction; flex around 6; all-mountain / groomed terrain / deep snow.
Our version is the 2025/26 generation in 147 and 150. We also have the first generation, 2024/25 - the same shape, profile and construction, in 144 and 153.

| Size | Contact length | Waist | Sidecut radius | Stance (min-max / setback) | Flex (1–10) | Rider weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 147 cm | 108 cm | 24.9 cm | 8 m | 47-59.7 / 2.5 cm | 6 | from 35 kg |
| 150 cm | 110 cm | 25 cm | 8 m | 47-59.7 / 2.5 cm | 6 | from 40 kg |
Size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist width, profile and the effective edge (the part of the edge that cuts into the snow) together decide how a board rides. The table shows the minimum rider weight Mervin gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful; a longer one brings more stability and float. The waist should fit the boot: at about 24-25 cm, boots are usually up to size 42-43 (EU), at 25-26 cm up to 44-45, and the W versions are for bigger feet, so toes and heel don't drag when carving.
Not sure which size? Write to us or stop by our shop in Golo Bardo, Sofia - we have been riding this stuff since 1997.
