Women's directional board with hybrid C2 profile, 1" setback* (the stance is shifted toward the tail) and Magne-Traction. For riders who ride the groomers confidently and are starting to venture off them.
Roxy Breeze is the more affordable directional board in the Roxy range - designed by Mervin, with C2 and Magne-Traction, for a woman who already rides the groomers confidently and is starting to look to the sides of them.
The hybrid C2 profile has rocker between the feet and camber zones toward the nose and tail. The rocker makes the turn easy and forgiving, and the camber gives pop and grip. The 1" setback* (the stance is shifted toward the tail) keeps the nose above the snow when it gets soft.
Breeze is for groomers in the morning and soft snow beside them in the afternoon. The snappy medium flex* (how soft or stiff the board is) of about 4/10 is easy to control but not lifeless, and Magne-Traction holds on hardpack and ice.
Compared with the Smoothie, Breeze is a notch softer and simpler in construction - an extruded base* (easier to maintain) instead of a sintered base* (faster, holds wax), less setback - and that makes it an easier first directional board. For park and riding switch* (riding with the other foot forward), a true twin* (identical nose and tail, rides the same in both directions) board such as the XOXO is a better fit.
Technical highlights: women's directional; hybrid C2; 1" setback; Magne-Traction; Kind Hearted construction; FSC-certified wood core; extruded base; flex about 4/10; all-mountain* (for all mountain terrain) / groomed terrain / soft snow.
We carry the 2024/25 generation, size 144 cm (flex 4/10, Roxy gives 30-65 kg).

| Size | Contact length | Waist | Sidecut radius | Stance (min-max / setback) | Flex (1–10) | Rider weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 144 cm | 105 cm | 23.5 cm | 8 m | 47-59.7 / 2.5 cm | 4 | 30-65 kg |
Size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist, profile and the so-called effective edge* (the part of the edge that cuts the snow) together decide how a board performs - the table shows the lower weight limit that Mervin gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful, a longer one brings more stability and float. The waist should match the boot: at around 24-25 cm boots are usually up to size 42-43 (EU), at 25-26 cm up to 44-45, and W versions are for a bigger foot so that toes and heel do not drag in carving.
Not sure which size? Write to us or drop by the shop in Golo Bardo - we have been riding this stuff since 1997.
