Women's directional board with C2, wider nose, 1.5" setback* (the stance is shifted toward the tail) and Magne-Traction. For all-mountain* (for all mountain terrain) riding, deep snow beside the groomers and long controlled turns.
Roxy Smoothie is what we would call the women's Cold Brew - a directional all-mountain* (for all mountain terrain) board with C2 from Mervin, for a woman who has already left the groomers and wants a board for the soft snow beside them too. Roxy presents it as an award-winning board built for smooth riding and float.
The C2 profile has rocker between the feet and camber zones toward the nose and tail. The rocker makes the turn easy and forgiving, and the camber brings back pop and control. The wider nose and 1.5" setback* (the stance is shifted toward the tail) lift the nose in deep snow, without you having to stand on the back foot all the time.
Smoothie is for long controlled turns, sharp turns in the deep snow beside the groomers, and afternoon runs on a piste that is already chopped up. Magne-Traction holds on hardpack and ice, and with a sintered base* (faster, holds wax) the board is fast and durable.
This is a board for a rider who rides confidently and wants to try everything on the mountain without changing boards after a season. The flex* (how soft or stiff the board is) is about 5/10 in the middle sizes - it does not tire you out, but it is lively enough for a jump off a natural transition. For park and riding switch* (riding with the other foot forward), the Roxy range has the XOXO.
Technical highlights: women's directional; C2; 1.5" setback; wider nose; Magne-Traction; Light Hearted construction; FSC-certified wood core; sintered base; flex about 4-6 depending on size; all-mountain / deep snow / groomed terrain.
We carry the 2024/25 generation, size 149 cm (flex 5/10, Roxy gives 40-80 kg). Geometry and construction are the same as in 2025/26.

Size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist, profile and the so-called effective edge* (the part of the edge that cuts the snow) together decide how a board performs - the table shows the lower weight limit that Mervin gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful, a longer one brings more stability and float. The waist should match the boot: at around 24-25 cm boots are usually up to size 42-43 (EU), at 25-26 cm up to 44-45, and W versions are for a bigger foot so that toes and heel do not drag in carving.
Not sure which size? Write to us or drop by the shop in Golo Bardo - we have been riding this stuff since 1997.
