LIB-TECH STEELY DIZZLE 167 2024: Lib Tech snowboard kitchen yielded the modern classic - Steely-D. Featuring deep progressive radius carving sidecuts, nimble floaty waist widths, and a powerful camber contour, it excels in all terrains. The gentle entry nose and tight tail ensure powder penetration and sharp turns. Quincy Quigg's art adds a subtle flair.
The Lib Tech Steely Dizzle is a collector's snowboard, one of those models you do not buy just because you need another board. It is a special arrow in the quiver.
The shape is strongly directional - a huge surf-style nose, a short tail and a camber-dominant construction. The idea is big mountain terrain, long lines and deep snow, where the board carries speed and float without needless fatigue.
This is a board for trips to big mountains and big white fields. When the snow gets deep, the long nose works like a surfboard, while the camber keeps control on steep and hard snow.
The Steely Dizzle is a classic freeride arrow - specialized, rare and deserving a place in the collection.
Technical highlights: directional; C3 in the archived generations; big nose; short tail; Magne-Traction; Aspen/Paulownia; sintered base; freeride / deep snow.

Size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist width, profile and the length of edge that actually works - the effective edge - together determine how a board rides. The table shows the lower weight limit that Mervin gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful, a longer one gives more stability and float. The waist should match your boot: at around 24-25 cm, boots are usually up to size 42-43, at 25-26 cm up to size 44-45, and the W versions are for a bigger foot, so that toes and heel do not catch the snow when carving.
