Eric Jackson's LIB-TECH EJACK KNIFE 157 2024: Crafted from Mammoth's parks to Mt. Baker's steeps. A freestyle-focused board with a C3 camber. early rise. 3-D nose for powder. and a rugged sintered base for resort durability.
The E-Jack Knife is a pro model of Eric Jackson - a snowboarder who may look "seasoned" by age, but whose riding is anything but calm.
The model uses C3 - a profile with a strong camber dominance and a lightly hinted rocker between the feet. That is enough not to lose the freedom of rocker completely, while the main character stays strong, direct and springy.
The board is directional, but the difference between nose and tail is not extreme. This allows playing with the nose, transitions and natural freestyle even in serious terrain.
The E-Jack Knife is great for carving on the groomed runs, for deep snow, for broken natural terrain and for big landings. The wood core is strong and has a lot of pop, and the good sintered base underlines the high-performance character.
Technical highlights: directional C3; HP construction; sintered base; about 1" setback; flex around 6-7; freeride / carving / deep snow / natural freestyle.

| Size | Contact length | Waist | Sidecut radius | Stance (min-max / setback) | Flex (1–10) | Rider weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 154 cm | 110 cm | 25.1 cm | 8 m | 51.5-63.5 / 2.5 cm | 6 | from 55 kg |

Size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist width, profile and the length of edge that actually works - the effective edge - together determine how a board rides. The table shows the lower weight limit that Mervin gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful, a longer one gives more stability and float. The waist should match your boot: at around 24-25 cm, boots are usually up to size 42-43, at 25-26 cm up to size 44-45, and the W versions are for a bigger foot, so that toes and heel do not catch the snow when carving.
