Women's park and street board from Drake (Northwave) with classic camber, carbon in the center and a fast Sintra 8000 base. For confident riders who want pop.
The Drake DFL Pro is the women's park and street board from Drake, the snowboard brand of Italy's Northwave. It is built for a rider who wants rails, boxes, natural jumps and everything the city and the park have to offer.
The profile is Smooth Classic - classic camber with no rocker zones. It gives strong pop, stable landings and confidence at speed, while the carbon strip in the center adds response and even more pop.
For 2023/24, Drake made the shape a true twin (identical nose and tail - rides the same in both directions) and as symmetrical as possible, so riding switch (leading with the other foot) feels like your regular stance. Northwave lists it as a directional twin, but when riding switch the difference practically disappears. The base is the very fast Sintra 8000.
This is a board for a rider who already rides with confidence - the camber does not forgive a careless edge, and for the first days there are softer, easier boards. The logic is close to the Lib Tech Off Ramp: pure camber, true twin, pop.
Technical highlights: women's true twin (Northwave: directional twin); Smooth Classic camber; centered stance (no setback); carbon strip in the center; Sintra 8000 base; park / street / freestyle; lots of pop; stable landings.
The generation we carry is 2023/24 - with the carbon strip in the center. For 2024/25 Northwave lists Carbon Kevlar Rods.

Size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist, profile and the effective edge (the part of the edge that cuts the snow) together tell you how a board will work - the table shows the lower weight limit the manufacturer gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful, a longer one brings more stability and float. The waist should match the boot: at around 24-25 cm boots are usually up to size 42-43 (EU), at 25-26 cm up to 44-45, and W versions are for a bigger foot, so the toes and heel do not drag when carving.
