A modern retro freestyle weapon from Matt Biolos – a true twin with traditional camber, a centered stance and no Magne-Traction. Halfpipe, park, street and serious carving.
The Lib Tech Mayhem Rad Ripper is a modern retro weapon for freestyle: a board with the soul of the late 90s, but built with current Mervin construction.
The philosophy is classic: true twin, traditional camber, centered stance (no setback), lots of pop and a clean edge without Magne-Traction. This is a board that does not try to hide mistakes, but returns cleanly everything the rider puts into it.
Mayhem comes from Matt Biolos, and the model was developed with feedback from Devin Tubbs' riding. For 2024/25 the artwork is by Steve Carranza.
The progressive symmetric sidecut radius, a flex of about 6/10 and the OP+ construction with a sintered base make the Rad Ripper a strong board for halfpipe / park / street / groomed terrain that can also carve seriously.
This is the choice of the good, classic, long-time snowboarder who knows why he wants twin + traditional camber + centered stance + pop.
Key specs: true twin; traditional camber; centered stance (no setback); no Magne-Traction; progressive symmetric sidecut radius; OP+; Aspen / Paulownia; Knife Cut sintered base; flex 6/10; the classic 90s spirit / modern Mervin construction.

The size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist, profile and effective edge length together tell how a board will work. The table shows the lower weight limit that Mervin gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful; a longer one brings more stability and float. The waist should match the boot: at about 24-25 cm the boots are usually up to size 42-43 (EU), at 25-26 cm up to 44-45, and the W versions are for a bigger foot, so that toes and heel do not drag when carving.
