A best-selling board with great value for Mervin technology – a directional C2 with a longer nose and a platform close to mid-wide. For all-mountain, trees and deep snow without extra fatigue.
Lib Tech Cold Brew is one of the most sensible and best-selling models from the brand - a very good balance of price, quality Mervin materials and real versatility.
It is a directional C2 board with a longer nose and a shape that clearly helps off the groomers, in trees and in deep snow. Even the standard sizes are a touch wider - close to the feel of a mid-wide board - which increases surface area and helps in soft snow.
Cold Brew is especially suited to riders who are confident in their natural, regular stance. This is not a board that chases absolute symmetry between the regular direction and riding switch; it is for someone who knows which is their lead foot and prefers to ride mainly in that direction.
Balance is its strength. You don't have to push it all the time. It can be pleasant all day, on and off the groomers, without tiring you out.
Technical highlights: directional C2; platform close to mid-wide; around 1.5" setback depending on the generation; wood core of Aspen / Paulownia; Magne-Traction; all-mountain / freeride / deep snow.

Size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist width, profile and the effective edge (the part of the edge that cuts into the snow) together decide how a board rides. The table shows the minimum rider weight Mervin gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful; a longer one brings more stability and float. The waist should fit the boot: at about 24-25 cm, boots are usually up to size 42-43 (EU), at 25-26 cm up to 44-45, and the W versions are for bigger feet, so toes and heel don't drag when carving.
