Pete Saari's LIB-TECH DOUBLE DIP 159 2025: A resort freestyle board for all conditions. From carving corners to park sessions and pow runs, it's designed for endless fun. With a unique "Directional in both Directions" design, floaty nose and tail, and shorter contacts, this board offers creative, multi-directional freestyle fun. Enjoy the ride!
The Double Dip is one of Mervin's most interesting freestyle constructions: a true twin, designed to feel equally natural in both directions even in deep snow.
An important note: the profile is C2X, not C3. That gives more camber and pop than the classic C2, but still rocker between the feet for float and a playful feel.
The big, smoothly raised nose and tail zones are made so that whichever end is in front works as a powder nose. This allows 180s, 360s, riding switch in fluffy snow, transitions and big freestyle moves in deep snow.
Pete Saari describes the idea as "directional in both directions", a very accurate phrase for a board that is a true twin but has two true powder ends.
Key specs: true twin / multi-directional; C2X; centered stance; big nose and tail with a smooth entry; Magne-Traction; powder freestyle / resort freestyle / switch riding in powder.

The size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist, profile and effective edge length together tell how a board will work. The table shows the lower weight limit that Mervin gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful; a longer one brings more stability and float. The waist should match the boot: at about 24-25 cm the boots are usually up to size 42-43 (EU), at 25-26 cm up to 44-45, and the W versions are for a bigger foot, so that toes and heel do not drag when carving.
