LIB-TECH LIB RIG 156 2025 by Austen Sweetin: The ultimate all-terrain snowboard with a floaty nose, deep carving sidecuts, and a speedy sintered base. Designed for hard charging and powder blasting. Showcases Austen's sleek orange-on-black graphics. Your dream snow slayer/lover awaits.
The Lib Rig is the pro model of Austen Sweetin: a board for a rider who rides the piste, powder, groomed terrain, freeride, natural jumps and big lines and does not want a separate board for each of them.
An important technical note: the current Lib Rig is camber with setback and an early rise nose, not C3. This gives very strong carving and pop on hardpack, but a nose that enters soft and deep snow easily.
The slightly directional shape with a light tapered silhouette and about 1.5" of setback give a clearly preferred direction without killing the freestyle potential.
This is a board for clean carving on the morning corduroy, for strong natural kickers by the piste, for speed and for powder: a modern camber machine that shows why camber should never have disappeared.
Key specs: Austen Sweetin; camber with setback; early rise nose; light tapered shape; 1.5" setback; Magne-Traction; OP+; Knife Cut sintered base; flex about 7/10.

The size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist, profile and effective edge length together tell how a board will work. The table shows the lower weight limit that Mervin gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful; a longer one brings more stability and float. The waist should match the boot: at about 24-25 cm the boots are usually up to size 42-43 (EU), at 25-26 cm up to 44-45, and the W versions are for a bigger foot, so that toes and heel do not drag when carving.
