The Lib Rig is the Pro model of Austen Sweetin - a board for someone who rides groomers, deep snow, groomed terrain, freeride, natural jumps and big lines and doesn't want a separate board for each of them.
An important technical clarification: the current Lib Rig is a camber with setback and an early-rise nose, not a C3. This gives very strong carving and pop on hardpack, but a nose that enters soft, deep snow easily.
The slightly directional shape, the light tapered narrowing and about 1.5" setback give a clear preferred direction without killing the freestyle potential.
This is a board for clean carving on fresh morning corduroy, for strong natural jumps along the run, for speed and for deep snow - a modern camber machine that shows why camber should never have gone away.
Technical highlights: Austen Sweetin; camber with setback; early-rise nose; light tapered shape; 1.5" setback; Magne-Traction; OP+; Knife Cut sintered base (faster, holds wax); flex around 7/10.

Size is not chosen by length alone. Weight, surface area, waist width, profile and the effective edge (the part of the edge that cuts into the snow) together decide how a board rides. The table shows the minimum rider weight Mervin gives for each size. A shorter board turns faster and is more playful; a longer one brings more stability and float. The waist should fit the boot: at about 24-25 cm, boots are usually up to size 42-43 (EU), at 25-26 cm up to 44-45, and the W versions are for bigger feet, so toes and heel don't drag in the snow when carving.
